Tour Highlights
If you are wanting to enjoy both Prasonisi in the South and Ixia in the North, this simple tour takes in 2 of the best wind spots for both Wing foiling and Windsurfing (Kiting is also possible, particularly if you bring your own kit). Using Rhodes International Airport as your start and end point and inclusive of a car to get around!
Days 1 - 5
4* Prasonisi Villa Luxury Villas

After picking up your car rental from Rhodes airport, take either the West Coast or East Coast route down to Prasonisi (1.5 hours either way). Plenty of opportunities to stop off on the way for food or a swim!
Arriving at Prasonisi Luxury Villas for a 5 night stay - set in the small Village of Katavia, just North of the amazing spot of Prasonisi, with flat water and waves on either side.
Rhodes South
In the very South of Rhodes is the small wind haven of Prasonisi, approximately a 1-and-a-half-hour drive from Rhodes airport. This resort is dedicated to windsurfing, wing foiling, and kitesurfing with reliable, strong winds and well-stocked centres with the latest equipment. There are two horseshoe-shaped bays connected with a sandbar; one side is super flat water for Windsurfing and Wing foil only, and on the other side there are small waves predominantly for kitesurfing.
Directly on the Beach of Parsonsi there is a small cluster of restaurants, shops and a few small hotels, the best of which is The Oasis Prasonisi. This is a great place to stay for dedicated windsurfers who want to spend as much time on the water as possible. If you want a more luxurious experience, or you are travelling with a non-windsurfing partner or family, we recommend the Atrium Prestige which is just 20 20-minute drive away. This is a fantastic hotel with amazing value for money; we have exceptional prices.
Days 6 - 10
5* Sheraton Rhodes Resort

After your 5th night in Kattavia, it is time to take the West Coast route upto Ixia for the last 5 nights of the trip. Another chance to enjoy some stunning scenery viewpoints and small towns along the way. Kiters can check out Theolgolos and Kremasti on the way (this is the Kitesurf area) - Windsurfers and Wingfoilers are able to launch right outside the Sheraton Rhodes with our recommended centre.

Rhodes North
Rhodes is the second largest of the Greek islands and has long been a very popular summer sun holiday destination with Northern Europeans - there are lots of flights from many regional airports. Rhodes Town in the North of the island is a mixture of historical buildings, cobbled small streets lined with shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as having buzzing nightlife if you want it. Rhodes can be a little bucket and spade in places but also has considerable charm and character.
Leading southwards from Rhodes Town is a long stretch of hotel-lined beaches, including Ixia and Ialyssos where the best windsurfing is and a brilliant selection of windsurf centres. Within walking distance of the windsurf locations, there are a number of well-priced hotels as well as a superb luxury hotel. This makes Rhodes a great place for a short-haul family windsurf holiday as well as a more focused pure windsurf trip for solo travellers or firends.
