Why we rate this centre

This is a small but well-stocked windsurf and wing foiling centre right in the heart of Ixia, one of the main tourist beaches close to Rhodes town in the north of the island. It is within walking distance of lots of hotels, including the stunning Sheraton (one of the best hotels in Rhodes).

The unique spot in the middle of Ixia bay delivers consistent side-shore conditions from April to October. The wind usually starts calmly in the morning which makes it suitable for beginners and foiling. At midday, the wind picks up and gives great conditions for the advanced riders. This wind system is called the Meltemi and its variety and consistency make the spot ideal for every level of rider looking to enjoy or progress.

The friendly and professional team are always on hand to assist you in setting up your equipment. The bay-watch keeps an eye out for everyone on the water and we have jet bikes available for lessons and assistance if needed. Coaching is available for all levels.

They have plenty of shading areas to relax when not on the water. Here you’ll find good music, WiFi and a beautiful view of the sea. In the evenings they frequently organize BBQ’s, Pizza nights and live music, don’t miss out!

It is important to pre-book your windsurf rental as part of your holiday to be sure of availability, especially in over the high season periods.

In the case of no wind, most centers will allow you to use other sports equipment, such as: SUP and Surfboards.
