Flor De Sal Overview
The Flor de Sal is a 4-star hotel located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, in Viana do Castelo. It has 60 bedrooms, the Saleiro restaurant and a bar overlooking the sea. The Hotel Flor de Sal also has a Health Club and Spa measuring 2,000m² run by SOLINCA. Here, guests can take advantage of a fitness centre, an indoor saltwater heated swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, aromatherapy, Scottish shower, Vichy shower, massages and face and body beauty treatments, physiotherapy and a covered outdoor swimming pool for thalassotherapy with a jacuzzi. Guests at the Hotel Flor de Sal can also take advantage of a garden overlooking the sea and a private car park.
Accommodation
The hotel has 60 bedrooms, including a luxury suite, two executive suites, six junior suites, two bedrooms adapted for guests with reduced mobility (one bedroom with two beds facing the sea and a junior suite). All rooms offer views over the mountain or the sea and have a hairdryer, safe, minibar, air-conditioning, TV with satellite and cable channels, telephone with direct external line and WiFi internet.
Sea View Rooms
The westwards facing bedrooms measuring 25m² offer a stunning panorama overlooking the sea that can be appreciated through the large windows. Their balconies and terraces are furnished with reclining chairs.
View over Santa Luzia Rooms
The eastwards facing bedrooms have stunning views of the Monte de Santa Luzia through large windows, and have an area of 22m².
Penthouse Suite
In this suite, you can enjoy the beauty and relaxing ambience that only the sea provides. Furnished with a fireplace, you may enjoy meals in the living room, as if you were in a restaurant. The living room and bedroom have doors leading to an enormous 50m² balcony, which is ideal for relaxing or sunbathing. If you wish, you can also add another room to the suite.
Executive Suite
These westward facing bedrooms measuring 50m² offer magnificent views overlooking the sea through large windows. The decked balconies and terraces have reclining chairs and the nearness of the water affords guests the sensation that they are in a large boat.
Junior Suite
In these eastwards facing bedrooms measuring 40m² guests can enjoy the view over the Monte de Santa Luzia through the large windows. The six Junior suites are ideal to comfortably accommodate another person or to be used as a work location.
Reduced mobility
The hotel has two bedrooms adapted for guests with reduced mobility. One bedroom with two beds overlooking the sea and one junior suite.
Dining At Flor De Sal
Customers can enjoy a sea view at Saleiro Restaurant and choose from an innovative menu which does not neglect the traditions of the Minho region. A wide range of options are on offer, from the working buffet lunch to a social dinner among friends. On days with inviting weather, the outdoor terrace is the ideal place to eat your meal.
