  • Direct access to some amazing surf breaks and one of the best wave spots in the world
  • Great for travellers who love an eco-friendly concept
  • A chilled, friendly vibe with freshwater pool and two restaurants on site

Dakhla Wave Camp

This new Wave Camp is set right on the shores of the Atlantic coast, a 25-minute drive from Dakhla Lagoon, with direct access to some amazing surf breaks. The new hotspot will attract all watersport lovers, especially sustainable travellers who love an eco-friendly concept.

For many years the spot of Oum Lamboiur has been a famous venue for competitions in wave kiting. Endless waves and perfect wind conditions offer everything for surfers and kiters to feel comfortable. In the future the hotel Westpoint will also be the host hotel for competitions like the GKA strapless and wave competition.

The camp consists of 40 spacious cottages which cater for up to 4 people each. The cottages each have a mezzanine with two floors offering fantastic views of the green-blue Moroccan ocean.

The sofas in the lounge can be converted into 2 single beds whilst upstairs contains a double bed. Each cottage is equipped with a flat screen TV, private shower and toilet.

The cottages are also eco-friendly with the walls made from sandbags in order to help with temperature regulation and to keep out the humidity, whilst the roof is also made from wood and grass to give the cottage a natural look The interior decor is designed using recycled materials in an urban beach style theme.

In addition to cottages which are constructed out of sandbags and wood, there is also an ecological seawater swimming pool, powered by the latest solar energy techniques.

Each cottage offers a private terrace and its own little garden.
