General Overview Of Valle Dell Erica
Valle dell’Erica in Sardinia is located right opposite the renowned national park of La Maddalena and the southern island of Corsica, 12 km from SantaTeresa Gallura.
The resort and its property is surrounded by 1400m of unspoiled coastline. Equipped with every comfort, the aim is to offer something that has become somewhat rare, evoking days gone by in an exclusive setting. It is a real oasis of relaxation and pleasure for couples and families.
The Resort Valle dell’ Erica is composed of two hotels, Hotel Erica and Hotel La Licciola, set in a 28-hectare park in a unique position.
The resort offers fine and luxurious rooms; 4 enchanting swimming pools; 7 restaurants; and 5 bars, one of which is a “swim-up bar”. Furthermore, inside the Hotel La Licciola, the “exclusive area” is a more reserved area with its own freshwater swimming pool for guests over 6 years old.
The resort is surrounded by gorgeous bays and a big wonderful public beach; equipped with sun beds and parasols reserved for resort guests and free of charge.
Directly from the resort, boat departures for excursions to the islands of the Archipelago of La Maddalena, located just in front of the resort, and to the islands of Southern Corsica can be arranged.
Our windsurf and kitesurf partner is based very close by in the bay or Porto Pollo, just a 10-minute drive while our dive partners in Santa Teresa di Gallura and Palau are also easily reached within 15 minutes. It is also possible to get a land transfer on a daily basis from the hotel at a cost payable locally.

Accommodation At Valle Dell Erica Hotel
All rooms are furnished in Mediterranean style and decorated with local handicraft items. The rooms have roofed equipped verandas, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, Sky TV, safe, minibar, bathrobes for adults and beach towels.

• President Spargi sea view: prestigious room with private pool and large veranda with a superb 180° view overlooking the Archipelago. • Suite Arcipelago sea view: large bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge (separable with a sliding door) with two additional beds (sofa beds or single sofa beds) + possibility of cot, two bathrooms; spacious roofed veranda with lounge and table;
• Suite Arcipelago sea view with private pool: (57 sqm + 24 sqm veranda + garden) exclusive Suite enriched with private swimming pool and wooden sun deck with spectacular view on the International Park of the Straits of Bonifacio. Large bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge separable with a carved wooden sliding door. The brightly coloured living room has two built in sofa beds + possibility of cot. Two elegant bathrooms. Roofed veranda with lounge and table;
• President Razzoli sea view: (85 sqm + 25 sqm veranda) exclusive President with private swimming pool, equipped wooden sun deck and stunning view on the islands, composed of bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan and separable with a sliding door) with two single sofa beds + possibility of cot, a bathroom and large covered panoramic veranda equipped with lounge and table;
• Imperial Suite sea view: 154 sqm split over two interconnecting floors (possibility of two independent accesses), with private swimming pool, equipped with wooden sun deck and stunning view on the islands. Composed on each floor with: bedroom with double bed (twin beds on request only) and lounge area (open plan and separable with a sliding door) with two beds (two single sofa beds on the first floor and a built in single sofa bed + a single sofa bed on the ground floor) + possibility of cot, a bathroom, large veranda equipped with lounge and table.
The “Exclusive” area, reserved for guests over 6 years old, is situated on the first floor with a panoramic view, private swimming pool and all rooms with sea view.

Hotel Services
Two receptions (Hotel La Licciola and Hotel Erica), all main credit cards accepted 7 restaurants (one of which is for children) and 5 bars, free lessons of Gallura cuisine with the housewives restaurant “Li Ciusoni” (August excluded), conference centre with a capacity of 450 seats and 4 meeting rooms In the main “Piazzetta” of the resort and /or in the terrace bar “Va Pensiero”, live music and performances of different artists, free doctor’s surgery service at scheduled time (medical certificates and visits on payment), free WiFi free in the whole resort and on the rooms’ verandas, private helipad with transfer service and panoramic flight over the Archipelago, free private car park uncovered (unattended, with controlled access).
Swimming Pools
Four swimming pools in front of the Archipelago (apart from those at the Thalasso & SPA Centre). Three with seawater, one of them suitable for children and one for adults in Hotel Erica, one with three large pools, connected with each other by waterfalls among natural rocks and with a view on the islands in Hotel La Licciola, and another with freshwater in the exclusive area with a 180° view overlooking the sea.
Spa Centre “LE THERMAE”
The enchanting Thalasso & SPA Centre “Le Thermae” located in a perfect natural setting of granite rocks, covers an area of approximately 1600sqm. The centre consists of: 4 seawater outdoor multi-function Thalasso pools at different temperaturse for the Thalassotherapy circuit 15 elegant and luminous booths for Thalassotherapy treatments, beauty treatments, and massages Turkish bath, sauna, relax area, cardio fitness room and reception. Thalassotherapy consists of using the essential elements found in marine water, which have a marvelous positive effect on the body and on the mind with an anti-stress result. For the treatments as well as for the Thalasso pools, the centre uses excellent marine water, thanks to the pureness of the sea environment and to the current of Bocche di Bonifacio.
Golf
At guests’ disposal, golf lessons with practice court and 3 holes Par 3 with natural and local grass within the resort. It is possible to join beginner lessons and to hire golf irons. Free golf school for children up to 13 years old.
Fitness Area
At guests’ disposal, a free equipped gym area aside from a cardio fitness room (on payment) at the Wellness Centre.
Excursions
Sea and land excursions organized by the Delphina excursions department:
- sea excursions half day and full day to the national park of the Archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica (for safety reasons boat excursions are not allowed for children under 3 years old);
- land excursions to discover the Gallura inland among historical centres, naturalistic landscapes, museums and archaeological sites.

Breakfast
Rich buffet served at the relaxing verandas of the restaurants “Nautilus” and/or “Les Bouches” with amazing panorama on the islands from 7.30 am to 10.30 am.
Dinner
Seven possibilities - elegant buffet and show cooking at the restaurants “Nautilus” and/or “Les Bouches” or on reservation and without supplement, a fine table service for a candlelight dinner at the restaurant “Il Grecale” or at the restaurant “Les Bouches”.
Restaurant “La Prua” (on reservation and with supplement).
Available for smokers, a small reserved restaurant area at the restaurant “Nautilus”.
At the typical Restaurant “Li Ciusoni”, authentic Sardinian cuisine specialities including traditional dishes of Gallura made with local products (on reservation and with supplement).
Exclusive dinners directly on the beach at the restaurant “Li Zini” by the sea, with barbecue of seafood and fresh fish of the day (on reservation and with supplement; opening subject to weather conditions).
Restaurant pizzeria at the Mini Club with a wooden fire oven and grill, dedicated to children.
On request at the hotel, guests on HB basis can replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.
Lunch
Five different and excellent possibilities:
Brunch Mediterraneo® from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. A light buffet with the pleasure of good cookery and pizza cooked in wood fired oven. The traditional second courses of meat and fish and dessert are not served. Guests buying the brunch at the hotel for the whole stay and wishing to go on excursions in Gallura can take advantage of the Brunch Around in one of the several Hotels of the Delphina Group (4/5 star properties).
At the restaurant by the sea “Li Zini”, first courses with seafood specialities and shellfish from a fish tank.
At the Bar “Nemo” fresh and delicious snacks; at the swim-up bar “Conchiglia” pasta station and sea crudité; at the bar “Caracoli” various tasty snacks proposals.
Gluten free meal available (on request when booking).
For The Family
Pride of the Valle dell’Erica Resort is Ericaland, this is the ideal place for children to have fun, leaving parents free to enjoy their holiday in Sardinia in complete peace and quiet.
It offers fully equipped indoor and outdoor areas, playgrounds and adventure parks, a cinema and a creative area that are always under the supervision of attentive qualified staff.
Ericaland also has a restaurant reserved for children which has a pizzeria with wood-fired oven and grill and with the option of providing lunch and dinner with the entertainment staff (with extra charge at lunch for those young guests who have booked the half-board option).
The facility also features a Soft Area, Nap Room and free nursery with bottle-preparation area complete with high chairs, push chairs, sterilizers, bottle warmers, baby intercom phones, changing tables, cots and everything else necessary for looking after babies.
For more creative children, Ericaland offers plenty of space in which to learn how to make jewels and souvenirs from things found in Nature. In addition, there is a five-a-side football field, mini hockey pitch on grass, volleyball court and numerous safe open green spaces where children can play freely without disturbing the adults.
In the little bays around the Resort Valle dell’Erica, there are fun activities including swimming, canoeing and water polo. Furthermore there is a swimming pool complete with water games just for children close to that used by the adults.
