Sorobon Bay Hotel is a new, refined, boutique apartment-style stay at Lac Bay. It is ideal for guests who appreciate a quieter, more intimate stay rather than a large resort, particularly couples and families. The feel of the place is understated luxury with a modern, clean architectural style, yet plenty of island character. It offers refined comfort, open views of the bay, a serene pool area and direct proximity to water-sport opportunities. Its main highlights include the exclusive small-scale accommodation (just 11 apartments), high-quality finishes and stylish internal kitchens.

The property consists of a small number of luxury apartments rather than typical hotel rooms, offering different types for different needs. According to the brochure one phase of the development comprises 11 units: 2 studios, 5 one?bedroom apartments and 4 two?bedroom apartments

Studio: These open?plan units are the smallest accommodation offering. Flooring and interior finishings are described as “fully furnished in a tasteful bohemian style … ideal for short-term rentals while maintaining a sense of character” and each “studio” offers a terrace or balcony overlooking the bay. The brochure gives floor areas around 85 m² (?915 sq ft), inclusive of a terrace for some units. Each sleeps up to two guests. It includes a queen bed (as per listing) and a full kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave) as part of the unit. 

One-Bedroom Apartment: These units are more spacious (approximately 90–95 m²), inclusive of a terrace. They contain a separate bedroom with a king or queen bed, a living area, a full kitchen, and a large terrace/balcony with views over the bay or pool. Listings show occupancy up to three (for example, one queen bed + sofa bed). Features include air-conditioning, soundproofing, a kitchen, and a balcony/patio. 

Two-Bedroom Apartment: The largest units are listed at approximately 115 m², inclusive of a terrace. They offer two separate bedrooms (typically two queen beds) plus a sofa bed in the living room, allowing for up to five guests in some listings. These units also include a full kitchen, private bathroom(s), and a terrace/balcony. Some have a pool view or a sea/bay view. 

Honeymoon Suite: a one-bedroom unit with further romantic orientation, sleeping up to four with a queen bed plus a double sofa bed. 

Despite its boutique scale, Sorobon Bay Hotel offers an array of amenities and shares many services with the nearby Sorobon Beach Resort. There is a communal outdoor swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, in a tranquil setting. While the accommodation units have full kitchens, there is also an on-site Italian restaurant and access to broader dining facilities via the neighbouring resort.

The overall feel of Sorobon Bay Hotel combines contemporary, high-quality finishes with relaxed island living. The style is clean lines, durable materials, modern kitchens, large terraces and panoramic bay views. Because of its small scale and calm location, it is best for guests who appreciate peace, space, and water-sport access rather than a large bustling resort: families, couples, friends travelling together (especially the two-bedroom units). While the self-catering apartments provide independence, the availability of resort amenities ensures convenience and comfort.
