A long favourite of Planet Travel, this superb property sits directly on the beautiful beach of Ponta do Santo Cristo in Gostoso. It is a peaceful and stylish hideaway designed for guests who want understated luxury, nature and world-class wind conditions for windsurfing, kitesurfing or wingfoiling. The pousada has a calm and private feel, surrounded by tropical gardens and soft golden sand. The service is friendly and attentive, and every detail has been carefully thought through to create a feeling of barefoot luxury
The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant. The design mixes natural wood, stone and white tones with tropical plants and open-air spaces. There is a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by palms, sunbeds and hammocks. The restaurant and bar serve fresh grilled dishes and local flavours with a creative twist, enjoyed in a relaxed beachside setting. The spa offers a quiet place for massages and treatments after long days on the water.
For windsurfers, kitesurfers and wingfoilers, the setup could not be easier. The beach is right in front of the property and a professional school is located next door for lessons and equipment rental. Guests can go straight from their room to the water without any transfers or long walks.
The pousada has only 22 suites, which keeps the atmosphere personal and quiet.
Garden Comfort suites - located on the ground floor, 50 square meters with a large balcony with hammocks and a sofa to relax and enjoy overlooking the garden.
Coqueiro Comfort Suite - Located on the first floor, 30 square meters plus a balcony with a bathtub and a sofa to relax and enjoy the sea view.
Classic Family Suite (2 bed) - located on both the ground and upper floors, 50 square meters, with two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds), a bathroom, and a large balcony with hammocks and armchairs to relax and enjoy the view of the hotel’s spa.
Family Pool Suite (2 bed) - Located on the ground floor, 100 square meters, two bedrooms with bathroom (one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds), a large living room with a sofa bed, and a balcony with hammocks and armchairs to relax and enjoy the view. It also has a private terrace facing the swimming pool.
Luxury Pool Suite - Approx 50 sm, one bedroom, bathroom, and a large terrace with hammocks and a sofa to relax plus a swimming pool. The ‘Luxury Plus’ suites can accommodate up to three people, while the others accommodate only two people.
Luxury Garden Suite - located on the ground floor, 50 square meters, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a living room (integrated in the bedroom) and a balcony with hammocks and a sofa to relax and enjoy the sea view.
Coqueiro Luxury Suite - located on the first floor, 50 square meters, Bedroom with a small integrated lounge, a bathroom, a dressing room, a room with a bathtub and a balcony with hammocks and a sofa to relax and enjoy the sea view.
Master Suite - Located on the first floor of the main building, 70 square meters and exclusive panoramic views of the beach. In addition, it has a large balcony with a bathtub and a sofa to relax and enjoy the view.
Owner Suite - Located on the first floor of the Mar & Brasa restaurant, 70 square meters and exclusive panoramic views of the beach. In addition, it features a large balcony with a private swimming pool and a spacious sofa, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.
All suites have a comfortable king size double bed (or two singles), a couch bed, a bathtub, free WI-FI, 43 ”TV, minibar, security safe, Split air conditioner, suitcase rack, blow dryer, magnifying mirror, beach towels, amenities, telephone, espresso machine, mosquito net and retractable drying rack.
