Egypt’s climate is easy to summarize: hot and dry, with the exception of the winter months of December, January and February, which can be quite cold in the north. The best time to visit Egypt depends on where you want to go. Generally speaking, winter (December to February) is the tourist high season and summer (June to August) is the low season in all parts of the country except on the coasts, and to a lesser degree in Cairo. Hotel prices reflect this.

Both the hotel and the centre were great, would highly recommend both. Windsurfing conditions were perfect for us - sandy beach, consistent wind and warm water. They also had a lot of kite surfing and wing foiling. The travel arrangements were all easy, Planet Windsurf send you travel docs which cover everything you need. Spring Tours were the local company who handled the airport transfers - the guys were very friendly and gave us good tips as it was our first time in Egypt. Overall a great recommendation from Planet Windsurf and a super easy process from start to finish!
