The staff at our kitesurfing center in Jericoacoara are really friendly, and think of all clients like old friends. They are always aruond to help with anything, from advice to knowledge. The one on one lessons are great for kiters of all levels.

INSTRUCTION PROGRAMME

The beginner kite course is broken down into 3 parts.

- Part I Safety: how a kite flies, how to set-up a kite, understanding your safety system, launching and flying a kite on land.

- Part II: controlling the kite while body dragging, water re-launch, landing the kite while swimming, one handed kite control, up-wind body dragging, board recovery

- Part III: controlling board and kite, feet in straps, water start, first rides

EQUIPMENT

The centre rents exclusively Cabrinha kites and their Powerdrive IDS (Intelligent depower system) bar system. They offer state of the art safety features and ease of use.

A member of staff will assist you in setting up your kite and assist you with launching and landing. The staff will also brief you on safety issues and rescue procedures. All clients renting are required to wear a helmet (included).

For your safety there is a jet ski on the ramp and ready to go at a moments notice. The jet-ski driver is always in contact with the shore via radio.
