Corralejo

In the north of the island at Corralejo is the stunning windsurfing beach called Flag Beach. The surrounding area and most of the beach is part of a beautiful nature reserve. At this spot, the wind generally blows side to side on from the left. Here you will find some small waves along the beach and some great flat water sections. The lagoon offers flat, calm waters and is a fun place to learn to windsurf or to improve your level in a safe and social environment. This spot is also a great destination for families with its amazing hotels and stunning beaches.

The Gran Hotel Atlantis is considered to be one of the best hotels in Fuerteventura. Sotavento, with its excellently reliable wind, is a great windsurfing spot and perfect holiday destination. This destination is ideal as either a dedicated windsurf holiday or a family holiday. Sotavento offers a variety of conditions depending on the time of year and location. Here you will be lucky enough to find both super flat shallow lagoons as well as incredible wave sailing spots. The best wind in Sotavento is between April and October, however, it is possible to get some great conditions in winter.
