This spot is the perfect place to learn to windsurf as well as to practice your freestyle and racing skills thanks to the side shore winds from the north, which make the water super-flat.

Depending on the tides there is usually a long shallow water area right in front of the centre. If waves are more your thing then you will be happy to find a fantastic wave spot within a five-minute drive to the other side of the peninsula.

Here in this part of Dakhla, the wind blows constantly throughout the whole year. With more than 320 days a year blowing at least 12 knots, this is an incredible windsurf destination.

The centre is equipped with the latest and greatest Fanatic equipment, which includes super lightweight sails for adults, and special children’s equipment.

Beginners are trained as far as possible in shallow water so you can expect a great learning environment. Everything from beach starts to freestyle moves can be learned through instruction by the centre’s professional team.

For the already avid windsurfer, the centre is happy to announce that as of spring 2018, windfoil rental and private or semi-private lessons will be offered!
