The coast of Rhodes is known for its buttery-flat waters and incredible consistent winds. These perfect windsurf conditions bring the most avid windsurfers from all over the world to Rhodes and we work with a great windsurf centre that will allow you to make the most of your windsurf holiday.

The Procentre located at the Blue Horizon Hotel is one of the top windsurfing centres on the island and provides the latest equipment of the season. They have a professional and experienced team that is on hand to serve and assist in whatever way you need, whether its equipment rental or windsurf lessons.

The Procentre has three different windsurf centres to choose from depending on your needs. Two centres are located at the Blue Horizon Hotel less than 30m away from the sea while the third centre is 500m further up the bay.

The Procentre 1

The main centre provides easy access to the sea where windsurfers will be happy to find a side shore constant wind blowing from the beach. This centre carries the latest Fanatic and North Sails and more than 170 boards and 200 North sails rigged with masts made to 75%-100% of carbon. The team at the centre is always eager to assist you in finding the right gear to help you progress. Safety is a number one concern for the centre with their own manned Baywatch towers and a rescue boat.

If you are bringing your own equipment to the centre, they can offer you an SSP package which covers storage, rescue, services and transport to and from the airport. If you are tired from windsurfing or simply looking to relax then you are welcome to enjoy the fresh water showers, beach volleyball and sun beds in a garden of hundred palm trees.

The Procentre 2

The Procentre 2 is the high tech centre that carries equipment from JP Australia and NeilPryde. This centre is ideally located on the left-hand side of the Hotel Blue Horizon. Here you will find the latest windsurfing gear with over 70 JP-Australia boards and around 100 NeilPryde sails.

The freeride sails are mounted on SDM masts and the wave sails are mounted on RDM masts (all 75% carbon minimum). The professional team will help you to find a customised sail that will match the current wind condition.  There are amazing courses on offer from beginner lessons to courses to improve even the most advanced windsurfing level.

The Procentre 3 Windmill Centre

This centre is located in an area that is much more sheltered from the wind than the other two centres. The Windmill Centre is located within 500 metress walking distance from the other centres at the Blue Horizon Hotel. This centre provides optimum learning conditions for beginners, as it lies shielded from the strong winds and the stronger waves of the bay.

It is a friendly centre offering many windsurfing opportunities for all levels. The centre stores 50 boards from Tabou and all kinds of boards are available, from beginners to free ride and wave boards. There are also more than 70 Gaastra sails ranging between 1,0m² and 7,5m² and all sails are paired with 75% carbon masts. As the centre is located less than 10m from the sea so you can change your gear as often as you like.
