MAURITIUS WINDSURF HOLIDAYS JUST GOT EVEN EASIER!

Incoming visitors will no longer have to present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before going on a windsurfing holiday to Mauritius.

(Port Louis, 12 March 2022) The Republic of Mauritius drops the requirement for all incoming visitors to present
a negative PCR test before being allowed into Mauritius.

Previously, fully vaccinated passengers had to present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before
departure. The Ministry of Health and Wellness has dropped this requirement as from 12 March 2022.

This move will make it much easier for Planet Windsurf Holiday clients to visit this Indian Ocean Island and is
being warmly welcomed by the travel and hospitality industry in Mauritius.

Demand for Windsurfing holidays to Mauritius has soared following the reopening of its borders to international
travel since last October, which coincided with the loosening of travel restrictions in many markets.

Travellers are choosing Mauritius for its stunning luxury hotels, world class Windsurf conditions, combined with excellent facilities for non-Windsurf partners and family members.

Arvind Bundhun, Director of Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, said:

‘We are delighted that the Ministry of Health and Wellness has reviewed the sanitary protocol for visitors to
Mauritius. Automatically this renders experience of travelling to Mauritius far easier and more streamlined. We
expect a further boost to tourism numbers as demand for travel to Mauritius is currently ramping up.’
