Mauritius windsurf holidays just got a lot easier!

Effective from now (16 March 2022), fully vaccinated travellers will no longer have to present a negative PCR test taken before arrival in Mauritius. Covid-19 testing is still required on arrival (day 0) in Mauritius, and it is mandatory to arrange Covid-19 insurance health cover. Fully vaccinated is defined at having had two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine recognised by the Mauritian authorities, and the second dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival.

All unvaccinated passengers must self-isolate for 7 days on arrival in an accommodation option of their choice, the previous requirement was 14 days. They must also do a test on arrival (day 0) however do not need to do another test at the end of their isolation, and are free to roam the island from day 8.

Minors under the age of 18 are exempt from vaccination requirements and are not required to have taken a negative PCR test in order to enter.
