New for 2017! Planet Windsurf would like to introduce Anse La Raie in Northern Mauritius. Due to an increased demand for an alternative to the most famous spot of Le Morne, Bel Ombre in the South of the island, and Belle Mare in the West. Although we regard Le Morne as one of the best windsurf locations in the world it can get quite busy, especially in high season. So if you want to enjoy the amazing wind conditions and atmosphere of Mauritius, but with far less windsurfers on the water then Anse Le Raie in Northern Mauritius is worth a look. Another strong selling point for this part of Mauritius is the much big range of amenities, shopping and night life that can be found a short drive away in Grand Bay.

As always here at Planet Windsurf we are very particular about the accommodation that we offer, and we will only recommend properties that we have personally checked and know to be good. We also make a conscious effort to avoid the ‘package holiday’ type of hotels, as although they can be cheap, they come at a price! In Northern Mauritius we have some superb high quality boutique style beachfront properties, some like Paradise Cove and Zilwa that are perfect for couples, and some like LUX Grand Graube that also have some fantastic family facilities.
