Boavista is a superb flat water windsurf and wing foiling spot in a relaxed and uncommercial setting. Our partner windsurf and wing foiling school is a 15 minute walk into the local town, and sort stroll to a number of small accommodations. The school is right next to a beach club, a great place to grab some food or refreshments between sessions.

The centre stocks an impressive stock of Fanatic windsurf and wing foiling boards, Duotone wings, and North / Duotone sails. Please be sure to book and rental or lessons with us at the time of booking your holiday to ensure availability.

The wind here blows cross offshore over the wide stunning sandy beach, making for super flat water conditions. The sands sea bed gently shelfs off for super easy entry. There is safety cover for free riders, and lessons are carried out from the boat. This is a great place to learn to wing foil, or for a learn to windsurf holiday.

IMPORTANT - Our partner centre does offer instruction but does not offer Kitesurf kit rental - local rental can be provide further down the beach, where the wind is less gusty directly off the beach, making for safer kite launch.

It is generally known that in group lessons clients will share equipment and that hours may be reduced if less than 4 people on the course. If the school is not able to provide you with all, or part of the course, due to low wind (or adverse weather), please ensure you get written confirmation from them so we may credit you according to the terms & conditions of the kitesurf school. The general rule is that if the school is unable to provide you with the lessons, they will offer you an alternative service or a credit, or a refund.

You don’t need to be super-fit to kitesurf and the kit is lightweight, so you don’t need lots of muscle strength either. But of course, a decent level of fitness will help you to progress faster. Your instructor will be there to support you, coach you, and more importantly, keep you safe through the learning process. We will schedule your course to start on your first full day, but you must remain available to the school to work around local wind and sea conditions, as well as instructor availability.

You must be able to demonstrate safe setup and use of the equipment, and be able to ride upwind (most of the time). If the centre feels that you are not yet ready to Wing foil independently they may swap out some of the rental value for instruction.
