Chamarel Lodge Overview

A 20-minute drive from Le Morne this stunning boutique property is surrounded by the natural park of the Black River Gorges, a protected natural heritage site. In this region, the World Wild Life Society has managed to save a number of species from extinction like the kestrel, the pink pigeon, and the green parrot.

The Rooms At Chamarel Lodge

The Chamarel Lodge includes the main building with its reception, lounges, TV room and library, bar and the dining room and its terraces where meals are served. The kitchen is open and welcomes the guests who want to learn the recipes from the Chef!

Scattered around the main building, each of the 20 rooms and suites have a different decoration representing the diversity of different cultures on the Island. Each room features an ethnic influence in its furniture and its decoration: China, Africa, India, or simply tropical. The wood, the slate, the beams, the terra cotta, the ton ochre, beige and rust typically confer to a Mauritian charm.

Die Chamarel Lodge umfasst ein Hauptgebäude mit seiner Rezeption, Aufenthaltsräume, TV-Raum und eine Bibliothek, Bar und Speiseraum und seine Terrassen, wo die Mahlzeiten serviert werden. Die Küche ist offen und begrüßt die Gäste, die die Rezepte aus dem Koch lernen wollen! 
 
Um das Hauptgebäude verstreut, die 20 Zimmer und Suiten hat eine andere Dekoration, die die Vielfalt der unterschiedlichen Kulturen auf der Insel. Jedes Zimmer lehnt die ethnische Einfluss in seine Möbel und die Dekoration: China, Afrika, Indien, oder einfach tropisch. Das Holz, das Schiefer, die Balken, die Terrakotta, die Tonne Ocker, Beige und Rost in der Regel verleihen diesem exklusiven Lodge, einem mauritischen Charme.
