Effective from now (16 March 2022), fully vaccinated travellers will no longer have to present a negative PCR test taken before arrival in Mauritius<\/a>. Covid-19 testing is still required on arrival (day 0) in Mauritius, and it is mandatory to arrange Covid-19 insurance health cover. Fully vaccinated is defined at having had two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine recognised by the Mauritian authorities, and the second dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All unvaccinated passengers must self-isolate for 7 days on arrival in an accommodation option of their choice, the previous requirement was 14 days. They must also do a test on arrival (day 0) however do not need to do another test at the end of their isolation, and are free to roam the island from day 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minors under the age of 18 are exempt from vaccination requirements and are not required to have taken a negative PCR test in order to enter.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
