The Caribbean is open for business in 2018

Following the devastating hurricane season that crashed through the Caribbean in 2017, the Caribbean tourist board has launched a program to promote travel to the Caribbean in 2018. Although some parts of the Caribbean had been caught in the wake of the hurricanes, the majority of the islands remained untouched, including the islands of Bonaire and Cabarete which are a firm favourites with windsurfers.

The board is promoting the concept that the best way to help the Caribbean is to visit the Caribbean in 2018. With stunning crystal-clear waters, reliable winds and tropical islands of paradise, it is the perfect spot for a windsurf holiday in 2018.

For years the Fanatic Freewave has been one of the most requested boards at any windsurf centre. This board shape hasn’t changed much over the years due to its fantastic design and building on its success, designers have decided to create a completely new concept based on this board. 

The Fanatic Freewave Stubby TE is a board with straighter parallel rails, a shorter and broader nose and a wide tail. This makes the new Freewave STB TE faster and easier to control.
