Situated a 5 minute walk along the promenade from Santa Maria town centre, and in the same bay as most of our hotels, the windsurf centre is ideally located. Atlantis Restaurant is next to the center, and next to that is an internet cafe, so you don't have to go far in your windsurf breaks.

The center at Santa Maria is one of the lucky centers to be able to provide 'The Joker Package' , it is available to centres lucky enough to offer the 4 most popular watersports, Windsurfing, SUP, Kitesurfing, and surfing.

            With the Joker you can buy 7 days of rental, along with 5 hours of instruction for only £275, which is amazing value alone! But the real beauty is that you can use your hours for whichever sport you like, mixing and matching day to day, including instruction!

            With the Joker you can relax about what the weather chooses to do, as you have a range of sports to cater for all conditions, ensuring you make the absolute most of your precious holiday time.

KIDS

Kids tuition in Sal is not very easy during the winter season as the sea can be pretty rough. When the conditions are "normal", they can offer kids tuition on a wide, sandy beach without any rocks and side shore wind from the left.

INSTRUCTION PROGRAMME

Apart from private and beginners' instruction they also offer the instruction programme. Please be advised that prebooking of beginner lessons is impossible because of the shore breaks, lessons are only available on site, depending on the condition.

The most popular and most frequently attended courses are: water start, fast tack, harness sailing and gybe. As Cape Verde is well known for its waves, guests therefore have an opportunity to experience a new windsurfing dimension, wave courses are also parts of our programme.

As the winds tend to be lighter in the morning this is when beginner lessons are held, and advanced lessons in the afternoon between 12 and 4.

Courses are held in French, English, Spanish, Italian or German and Portuguese.
