Situated on the Cesme Peninsula, opposite to the Grecian island Chios, Alacati is the perfect surf place in the Turkish Aegean Sea. Who does not ambition of racing over flat, turquoise water with unceasing wind? With Izmir exactly a three hour flight away, and the transportation to Alacati only one hour, this perfect position is highly reachable.
Alacati is named the “St. Tropez of Turkey” and it´s historical town with many cafes and terrasses is truly appealing. In nearby Cesme, numerous stores and boutiques influence you to shop to your hearts content!
Just in case the wind takes a break and you are interested about culture as well as sports, a few notable places can be well reached from here: Ephesus, Pamukkale, Troy, Assos and a lot more.
