Planet’s newest Mediterranean resort of Marmari sits on the North West coast of the Island of Kos in Greece; an island well known for it's super reliable wind conditions in the summer months. Kos is a superb destination for a Mediterranean windsurf holiday as it offers a short direct flight from many European airports, plus an easy transfer to your hotel. Kos has a selection of both medium category hotels to very luxurious properties, which are all very close to the Marmari Windsurf centre. This windsurf resort in Kos is therefore one of the few resorts where we can accommodate that rare combination of world class windsurfing and luxury accommodation.

The wind conditions in Marmari
The North wind, called the Meltemi, blows side on-shore from the right in front of our windsurf centre at the Grecotel Royal park or a bit more on shore at our other centre based near the Marmari Beach Hotel and Caravia. Both spot are really safe and risk free with this direction of wind. This is a 50 metres long sandbank, no reefs or rocks and no currents or nasty creatures; just great !
